Trilon® BS is a dry, crystalline powder of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA). As is, Trilon® BS is nearly insoluble in water; however, water soluble salts of EDTA can be prepared by adding sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, organic amines and other alkalis. This enables the solubility of Trilon® BS to be adjusted to fit the application. Trilon® BS and its salts are used where high purity is required. 收起
